The experience of a friend

A friend’s leg became infected when he was on holiday overseas, resulting in a flesh-eating disease (Pyoderma Gangrenosum) which developed into serious wounds. Conventional medicine appeared to be curing them and did relieve the pain, so much so that after 6 months the friend thought it was okay to have a moderately active weekend. A bad decision because it resulted in a relapse. The pain was so great that he couldn’t move. He was admitted to hospital where for the first 24 hours he was under half hourly monitoring and pain killing drugs. Surgery was suggested but his specialist doctor didn’t like the possible consequences. At this time he was permitted to apply Mānuka honey as well. The Mānuka honey provided relief and greatly assisted the healing process. The results are shown in the amateur photos below.

The Mānuka honey grade was UMF20+ applied to the wounds straight out of the jar.

Our friend has not suffered any form of relapse and is now as active as ever.
